Hello! I'm Sashai Freeman, the creative force behind Recrafted Luxe. My journey into the world of upholstery began in 2015 when I moved into my first apartment after college. With a limited budget, furnishing my space was a challenge until I discovered two accent chairs discarded nearby. Initially hesitant about reclaiming others' items, I was amazed at how a good cleaning, and fresh fabric transformed them into new pieces. Recognizing their potential, I listed them on Facebook and eBay, and to my surprise, they were quickly sold to a buyer in Arizona in less than 24 hours. This experience ignited my passion for furniture revival. Since then, I have successfully reupholstered pieces for clients, expanded my offerings to include accent walls, built statement furniture, and painted kitchen cabinets.
